The Eugene Symphony has appointed Alex Prior as its next Music Director, beginning with the 2025/26 Season, a milestone year that also marks the orchestra’s 60th anniversary.
Known for his dynamic podium presence and interpretive depth, Prior has built a reputation for making symphonic music accessible and exciting for diverse audiences, a quality that resonated strongly with Eugene Symphony leadership.
